All in a days work!

I must aplogize because I don't post very often.  With full time job, squeezing in an hour of exercise a day, and trying to keep house and hubby happy I am a bit maxed out when it comes to time.  I have however been able to squeeze in some me time in the craft room while hubby spends a few hours in a tree (hunting that is).  Here are a few things I've been working on. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!!

This is a banner for a friend who has a niece turning 3.

Here I tried my hand at fabric flowers and I actually kind of like it!!!

Personalized drink coasters!  These are fun but a little time consuming when it comes to sealing them.  Gotta love good old Louisiana weather.  Soooo unpredictable!!!!

Here is a banner that I did for a baby shower and yep you guessed it TWINS!!!!  It's also going in the nursery so it matches the decor!!  It was precious!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Love being crafty...

Hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas and Safe and Happy New Year!!!!  I must say mine was fabulous.  I just love the holidays and being surrounded by family.

Well not only have I been eating ENTIRELY too much but I have been busy doing more productive things as well.  I was fortunate enough to have had the week between Christmas and the New Year off of work so I was able to play in my "Craft Room"  as my husband would call it.

This is a set a of coasters I experimented with and I must say I'm so glad I made them for myself.
LOVE 'EM!!!!

They were so easy....
I just took .16 cent tiles from your local Lowe's and mod-podged some gift wrapping tissue on and stuck some vinyl lettering on and VIOLA!!!  I would also recommend sealing them with a polyurethane spray just to keep them preserved and I think it's more professional to sell a finished project.

Just another close up!!  I actually posted these on my facebook and have 2 orders for them.  I just fell absolutely in love with them!!!

Here is a garland or banner whatever you want to call it that I'm doing for a baby shower.  This is actually half of the order because it's TWINS!! The other is just alike but the name is ELLYOT!  I love doing these!!

I have also been working on fabric flower headbands and barrettes..pictures coming soon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Busy as a Bee!!!!

So, as you can see I was very busy this weekend and it has carried over into the week.  It has been crazy busy trying to get out a few orders for these super easy Christmas Balls.

As you can tell I even recruited my mom for some help and some mother-daughter time.  Love that!!!!  I think I get my crafteness from her.  She loves this stuff!!!

Here are a few we made for our initial experiment.  Love the idea I got from Everyday Cricut.  Love their blog by the way.  So many neat ideas.

This is a picture of my mess!!!  A mess it was!!!

A few semi completed.

This is the very 1st ball I completed.  This one was given to my boss to go along with her pretty present.

Another completed order!!  Love em!!

And another order!!! Wooohooo!!!

Not only did we work on ornaments but I gave a shot at personalized drink coasters with vinyl.  I really like these also.  Great gift ideas!!!

Here's just a set of Christmas coasters!!!

Hope you enjoy and thanks for dropping by!!!

Baby Shower Banner...Oh so cute!!!

It's been quite a while since I've posted but things have been crazy for us on the home front.  That being said I have still been experimenting with my cricut.

I got this great idea from Sammy Jo over at 62 cards.  It came out soo good!!!

We also made baby Rebekah a diaper cake.  So easy and Oh so cut!!

Of course baby Rebekah is the 1st child and is already considered their little princess so we couldn't go without adding a few crowns to the diaper cake.

I think she'll Love It!!!

I've been busy...

Well I must apologize once again because I've been away for so long but I really have been busy.  Maybe not so much when it comes to blogging but busy with some new loves of my life.

As I've said before my husband gave me a new camera for Christmas and OH MY how I absolutely LOVE it.  Here are a few things I've been busy doing....

Now that our storage shed is complete I was able to pick up some flower pots that I had laying around.  Well when I came across this big Lady I nearly freaked out.  This is really the actual size of her.  I don't know about you guys but when I see a Black Widow I about S&!t in my pants.  After a few poses for the photographer she was SMUSHED!!!!!!  Black Widow's an I don't do well living in the same yard.

Here is our beautiful girl.  She is actually very camera shy and I had to do lots of talking and "Where's your ball?!?!?"  to get her to look at me.

Here is a really muted picture of the Hubby's grandmother's tulips.  This little woman has the most beautiful flowers around.  Hundreds of tulips and gladiolas and iris', and marigold's and you name it she's got it.  I'll have more of these coming.

Here is one from our recent trip to Colorado.  This year we've chosen to drive and I must say it was an adventure.  Kansas is one boring state.  That being said it was quite interesting seeing things like this lonely little tractor in the middle of a field of brown.

Then we drove up to this sign.  I must say we were extemely excited to reach this mile marker.

Even Max was excited to see the Colorado State line.

As we made a pit stop for gas we just so happen to lucky drive by these guys.  Please excuse the one in the back with the belly ache!!!!  LOL

Here is a view from the condo we stayed in.  This would be the beautiful Colorado River.  How nice would it be to wake up to this view every morning with a warm cup of coffee.  AAAHHH!!!  My Happy Place!!!

The rest are just a few of us and the rest of the group on the ski slope.  This I must say is something the hubby and I really wish we had near our home.  Something fun and very physical.

The hubby coming in after his last run of the trip.  A little sad but very happy!!!

Hope you've enjoyed all of these and I hope to post more soon.
